AIKO - Top PV panels with advanced ABC technology

AIKO photovoltaic panels with ABC (All Back Contact) cells represent the most technologically advanced solution with the highest panel efficiency on the market, surpassing even TOPCon technology not only in efficiency but also in greater power output at higher temperatures, partial shading, and last but not least, premium design.

Main advantages of AIKO photovoltaic panels

Higher efficiency with ABC technology

ABC (All Back Contact) technology delivers unprecedented power-to-area performance for photovoltaic panels. This means greater output for the same area compared to conventional PERC or TOPCon panels, thanks to the placement of contacts on the back of the PV panel. AIKO panels currently hold the title of the most efficient photovoltaic panel on the market.

Further advantages of AIKO PV panels with ABC technology:

  • Efficiency of currently available modules up to 24.8%!
  • Minimization of degradation ≤1%/0.35%
  • Lower temperature coefficient -0.26%/℃ (TOPCon typically -0.29%/℃)
  • Maximum light absorption

Shading optimization - higher power plant output

The innovative cell design features a significant improvement in partial panel shading. This collectively increases the power plant's output over time compared to using conventional modules. Thanks to lower breakdown voltage, the bypass diode is not activated during partial shading, and the panel optimizes performance to minimize production losses. In essence, it can be said that it replaces optimizers to a certain extent, as the string is only partially affected by minor shading, allowing the module to maintain its output without losing a significant portion of its capacity.

Revolutionary AIKO design

Photovoltaic cells feature a clean and minimalist design without distracting elements due to the use of an overlapping welding method. AIKO panel cells thus gain not only additional power from utilizing the extra active area of the PV panel but also their original and premium appearance.

Higher mechanical resistance and micro-crack resistance

AIKO photovoltaic panels with ABC technology provide minimal panel degradation, thus ensuring long-term durability and reliability.

Unlike conventional panels, positive and negative electrodes are on the same side of the cell (they are usually "Z" shaped), reducing the risk of cracking under mechanical stress, including stronger tempered glass for increased hail resistance.

Lower currents and fire resistance

Compared to the current trend, new panels with ABC cells maintain standard lower Imp currents up to 15A, thus ensuring higher compatibility with common inverters. This also leads to lower conductor losses and increased safety.

AIKO panels also meet the highest level of fire resistance and are classified into the best flammability class A.
